This remake of an amazing classic is simply a lump of shit with effects. This wasn't even worth the plastic it was printed on. It is simply HollyWood trying to make money on an obscure classic.
The original was an suspenseful drama about the characters and the situation that they are thrust into. Great performances by great hollywood actors should be protected and cherished not compromised and cashed in on.
James Stewart- Sir Richard Attenborough-Peter Finch-Hardy Kruger-Ernest Borgnine and George Kennedy are in this making it an all star line up.
It was made in 1965 and is worth and deserving of your time.
 
Even the mediocre comedies get butchered, "Gone in 60 seconds" anyone?

I don´t watch many new movies. I´m simply not amused. They put all the time and money on the effects AND MARKETING (something they have to to to "convince the potential audience" that the trash they created is enjoyable).

PSYCHO! Alfred Hitchcock's CLASSIC slasher film was turned into a flaming pile of shit! The original is one of the best horror movies of all time.

As a huge horror fan, I'm sick of my favorite classics being "updated" for today's generation. Watch the old movies! You cannot recreate Dawn of the Dead or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and expect it to be anything close to what the original ever was! And what really pisses me off is when the kids of today say the remakes are better than the original! BETTER!? The sad thing is, even if they did see the first one, the probably still wouldn't like it. The youth of today have no idea what classic horror is!
 
Agreed....it's just like when some lameass rapper takes some song from the past and makes a stupid rap song out of it....total rip off...totally fuckin lame.

The one that worries me most, WIlly WOnka. I hope they don't ruin this although JOhnny Depp is a great choice for wonka. One of my favorites.

The reason for so many remakes is the fact that hollywood has run out of ideas.

I'll stick with the independents.

Cape Fear was a good remake. Dawn of the Dead was definetely butchered, but I like that movie. There is no creativity left in Hollywood or TV. Its all reality this and reality whatever the fuck.
 
Fellas, this just in. There going to remake my favorite, JAWS. God I hope this is false, DONT FUCK WITH PERFECTION! Dreyfuss, Sheider and Shaw were amazing who the fuck could top them and the chemistry they had.
