classical music

I dig it.

I especially like Antonio Vivaldi's "Seasons" and Gustav Holst's "Planets". "Am I Evil?"'s intro came from the intro to "Mars" from the... suite, I think it's called? Yeah. I also like some Beethoven, and Mozart obviously owns.

I love classical. I always tell people that Beethoven was the first Prog-Metal star. His symphonys were heavy and unconventional. He was also the first to include choral in a symphony.

^ Yep. And the same goes to Grieg and Bach ( not the Skid Row jerk, the real Bach). Also, as I know, Ritchie Blackmore once said that 12 Paganini's Capriccios is a-must for any self-respected guitar player.

Didn't that Anthropologist that did that family tree of metal show, on VH1, talk about classical music and compared it to metal?

I tell you more - it kicks some major motherfuckin' ass... No bullshit here! Especially I love when those young pale ladies with eyeglasses set those big fucking bass guitars standing up and start scratching 'em with those sticks... The only thing I don't like that the frontman (usually an older fellow with mullet) always stands with his back to the mosh pit, never mind his headbanging...

I dig classical music...like troscinski, beethoven, mozart (magic flute)...
I like to think of it as early metal>>>
