Yeah, the Surf Ballroom where Anthrax is playing was the place of their last show. It has a very un-metal look to it (tropical) so it will look like I'm watching Anthrax in Puerto Rico or something.

Trivia time:
Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper all died in plane crash following their last performance at the Surf Ballroom. They couldn't fit all four performers on the plane, so one of the perfomers had to take the bus. The fourth performer was sentenced to the bus and went on to have a very successful career in music. Who was it?

We have our winner. Waylon Jennings, country music outlaw and the Balladeer from the Dukes of Hazzard.

Brat-for your prize, if you can make it to the Clear Lake show, the tickets on me!! I don't really have anything else to offer up as a prize. Maybe I'll vote about 50 extra times and dedicate them to you!

Yeah, well, I'm not that OLD.

One day he was telling me about how all the kids got sent home from school the day Kennedy was shot. When he told me he was in tenth grade, I asked him if he climbed down off his dinosaur to listen to what the teacher was saying, or if he just rode it home. He takes it pretty well.

My first year in college they started showing re-runs of the Dukes. Two episodes in the late afternoon after classes were over every day. I think it was on TNN. We watched that religously. Wish I still had my Dukes lunch box.

"Just the good ole boys..."

Dude back in my college days we had re-runs of A-Team and we all hit the cartoons too. Funny thing I never watched A-team when it was new. I remember a sadistic midget joke on a Disney ducktales episode.
