Clipping on the master

I see a big issue if you are sending clipped material into the FG-X. The FG-X wants to see dynamic range.. it works by analyzing peaks. If you're already clipping the shit out of stuff. the algorithm is not going to work properly.

Hey Steve! Sorry, didnt see your response. Already figured it out, really liked the results i was getting after tweaking it a bit (esp. automating the ITP rider) and ditching Gclip. Anyway, I have another problem now: I updated my FG-X and copied the new *.dll in my Reaper Plugins folder.. But somehow Reaper can't find it anymore.. Is that a common problem? Had no time so far to reinstall it, but gonna do it asap.

cubanDude, have you hit "re-scan" in reapers vst-preferences?

jep... dunno why i can't find it anymore.. maybe it's just the search and it's still there in the list itself, gotta check that out as soon as i can access my computer again
