Not metal but I switched the melody to a song I was doing. The verses have changed from a rocker attempting to have a more melodic feel...not sure if any of you are digging this but give me feedback anyways negative positive whatever...thanks!

1) the "backingvocals" in background of the chorus are really distracting. either sing the better or take them away.

2) the song doesn't kick your face in when the chorus starts. now it just sounds really static and boring. add more elements, make it louder, anything. percussions like tambourine are always nice add to this kind of music

They also sound distant like they are away from the mic. And I agree you need more power. Try some parallel compression on drums maybe and some other stuff.

I really like the lead vocal, but it could be a bit thicker and warmer.

hi stephen! sometimes it could be good to put songs aside for a while and not listen to it at all.. when you listen to it after you almost cant remember it anymore, you will definetaly get a new perspective on things either you continue on it or you won't start making new stuff in the meanwhile, i know you and i know you have good ideas just waiting to come out!
