It depends on what you like/want to try to get into. For instance Black Metal- Norway is the kings for that. Finland has good bands mostly in the Melodic Metal scene. But scatter yourself over the globe. I'm sure other people can give you bands from other countries as well.

Yeah, i'm not saying Scandinavia is the only area i listen to. A lot of countries have a lot to offer, like Germany w/ Necrophagist, an amazing band. All over Europe, they've got the whole Power Metal thing, then America w/ Nile etc.
I'm just sayin, right now the types of music i'm into is like Melodic Death Metal and Black Metal and Viking Metal, and I think Scandinavia brings it!

I would go if i lived near the festival. They better do some festival gigs in Finland too altough they will be recording the next album in the summer i think.

the line up is quite weak.

Not only is the line up weak, but I would go only for COB and it's not even in England. My parents suck arse and in short are 'white trash' and don't understand the joy of a festival, concert, party, or gig. I hope whoever goes enjoys it and spends their time their worthwhile.
