CoB to tour the US with Halford's Metal Gods tour w/ Motorhead too!

Actually, that's good news to us(Griffin), because it means that Alexi Laiho will co- produce our album in the summer. But, hey, I feel sorry for the American COB fans, although things can still happen.
Really? Alexi will produce your new album? Well, that's pretty interesting...

Um, anyone else think it kinda sucks that they're gonna be opening and playing around 6-7 songs?

Dont get me wrong Im gonna be there with fucking bells on! But I wouldve definitly liked to have seen them either headlining or second act...

I think the idea of that halford metal gods tour is awesome. You aren't always going to like every band at a festival nor a big tour like that but it is good for metal!!!! It brings metalheads of all types to a show and some actually "god forbid" get turned onto music they might not have heard before. Why do people always want to see bands that are all the same is beyond me??

@tattoedsean: wtf kind of a deodorant does Anthony Hopkins use in your avatar? he hacks and slashes and never ever sweats!

geez what part of my body i wouldn't give to see Halford and Alexi pulling that Living after Midnight stunt...

Sounds great to me, but until I see dates I'm taking it as rumor. The only thing I know that's confirmed is them touring throughout japan together, but finally seeing Halford in action AND COB... That would be excellent.

Of course they'll come no where near my area, so it all depends on if I'll want to make the trek to somewhere else.

All I know is that one of Halford's Japanese fans heard that CoB and Motorhead are 2 of the bands that will be part of the Metal Gods tour in the USA.

I really hope this pans out. Since the rumor started I decided to check out CoB. I am really glad I did.

I am an Old School Metalhead. Like most Old School crew I am pretty picky and kinda closed minded about what I listen to. The internet and WinMx have really been a big help in finding new music. And of course Ulitmate Metal is a fantastic resource as well. I'll be looking for HateCrew Deathroll when it comes out.

Goddamn right man. The only way to do it is to be picky, there's too many metal bands nowadays that get recognition when they shouldn't. There's older bands out there like Judas Priest that are the underdogs because newer bands are taking their slot.

Good to know there's another oldschool metal fan around...

I grew up with Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. I saw the coming of Metallica and Slayer first hand. I've tried to get into alot of different bands. But the Old School stuff is where it's @ for me. Maybe I'm just a stubborn Old Fart.

Krueger how old are u?
