I talk about this excellent heavy psych rock band from Germany all the time and nobody talks back, yet everwhere else I see them mentioned as one of the best modern bands in this type of music.

The way I see it, they have it all: heaviness, a dynamic and unmistakeable sound, hypnotic modal melodies, long songs, frenzied psychedelic jams, great analog recording, tube-amped guitars, and most importantly of all: JAZZ INFLUANXCES!!!2!d

Here are a couple of live vids off youtube and a Myspace link for anyone who may be interested:

i enjoy it, but this'll probably get a better response if it was posted in the non-opeth forum. this'll probably end up being moved. good stuff though.

wow, sorry about that. i could've sworn i was in the opeth forum when i replied to this:cry: . sorry.

Holy shit, people finally listened to me!

This has been one of my favourite bands for at least a few months now. My tastes change quickly, but a band like this is pretty timeless and amazing.

Their self-titled album is a fucking monumental opus of grooving, intricate yet accessible psych-hard rock with diverse influences and beautiful songs!
