Come Clarity video

Björn reminds me of Zakk Wylde for some reason.

The vocals are getting worse and worse all the time. The chorus is something straight of a band from "The OC".

They need to quit touring America, go back to Sweden and find their roots.

totally fucking agreed! :notworthy

Okay does anyone get a Under the Reign of a Thousand flames by Rhapsody feeling?? Just saying. I love both bands but as the fire balls were coming down I got a Rhapsody feeling.

The song kicks ass and I liked the video too, especially the part where the meteors start coming down.

Totally fkn amazing song, and now with a decent video. I think it's well shot - the scenery, backdrops and moody sky really work great with the feeling of this song, complementing it, adding to its power. Especially when the meteors rain down - this is an unexpected surprise, and makes an incredible impact (no pun intended). i don't think it's anything to do with Rhapsody, but maybe someone saw that type of effect in a movie and thought it'd be cool to have meteors rain down, but who cares because it really works with this song.

Only gripes I have with this are to do with sound: the intro has been truncated (I hate it when they do that to make videos shorter!) and there's something up with the balance of the mix - I don't know if it's because of the transcoding to low-quality internet video standard, or maybe they did mess with it for TV, but the guitars sound dampened during the chorus, and the 'cleaner' guitars are louder during the interludes, not to mention what sound like some new echoes to the vocals... As I said - maybe it's just the internet version, as I haven't seen the real TV version - anybody care to comment?

Still, I love the idea of Anders driving through this bleak but beautiful Friedrichian landscape and encountering a strange ghostly figure... It might've added to the intrigue and speculative value if the old rusty car that she climbs on top of at one point had been the same model as the one Anders drives. The guys who said they could've added a bit more to this video are right - it is just a little simplistic.

To me it's a pretty cool background effect. I doubt they stole it from another band. I highly doubt it.

Well if you wouldve read the post you wouldve seen that I merely said it had a similar feel. I never said they stole the idea now did I?? NOPE!!!:Smug:

Nothing special, but I like the song some. I think they've been staying in the same field of music for since reroute tho... it's getting a bit old.

The only thing the song has going for it is that its slightly... slightly, different then anything else from the last three albums. I say that because it has acoustics. But in reality it really just sticks to the same structure as all the other songs.
