that's funny, because their debut makes THEM look like a bunch of poseurs next to Nevermore.

Check out: http://www.communic.org

There are two 3-minute samples from the new album online.

These are the first batch of reviews we've got:

- METAL HAMMER (Germany) - 7 out of 7 - Album of the Month
- ROCK HARD (Germany) - 9.5 out of 10 - Album of the Month
- SCREAM (Norway) - Album of the Month
- METAL HEART (Germany) - 10 out of 10
- HEAVY (Germany) - 12 out of 12
- POWERPLAY (UK) - 8 out of 10

Nice, huh? ;-)

Agreed. I'm not sure how anyone reaches the conclusion that a clone band, makes the band they aped look like "poseurs".

Zod

EDIT: I wasn't even aware that people were still using the word "poseurs".

I like both of Communic's discs, but Nevermore kicks their asses.
Hey Britt, if I thought the first Communic disc borrowed too heavily from the Nevermore camp, will I like the 2nd any better? Have they moved closer to finding their own sound? And if not, are the songs at least stronger? Thanks.
