Hi,
I'm new of this forum.
I'd like to buy a comp for mix and above all mastering.

I'd like to take one of the following:
AS C2
SSL g series (I read that the old is better bat it's not easy to find)
Tubetech (multiband)
Gyraf X
Crane Song STC8

Any suggests? or other solutions?

of course for metal applications

thank you

had the pleasure to work with the tubetech....fell in love!!

i 've got this great offer , could buy it from the guy for sooo cheap, still too expensive for me.....
uuuaaargh!

but i think all the mentioned comps are awesome

What's the differece in sound between C1 and C2 except for the crunch mode?

And between AS products and the new SSL g series (i wanted to buy the ssl but many told me that the new version is not like the old one!)?

thanks

what kinda comp settings do you guys typically use for mastering? i know it's different for every tune, anyone have some generic settings the tend to start with tho?
