Because I was bored (and desperate) I tried to run a Vintersorg song through a translation program. The results are just sad. I guess I'm stuck with trying to learn Swedish.

On reason that it translated so few is because he does not use "usual" swedish words

To use translation programs for the Swedish Vintersorg(or Otyg) will just end up in disaster, as I use and combines so many shapes of the swedish language, diffrent eras, diffreant areas, diffrent dialects into a large fusion, my own universal Swedish..hehehehe...and using the programs that interact with modern encyclopedia will not help you that much, hell I can't translate the lyrics myself, even if I know the meaning of the word i can't re-create it honestly in english, it has too much spirituality and emotions in it self.

I think those translation programmes use textbook swedish and Vintersorg is probably speaking a regional dialect or street Swedish. That would surely play games with a translation programme. I am surprised you didn't get a lot of off-the-wall words out of it because sometimes the programmes try to match as close as possible and come out with all sorts of crazy shit.

Once I found this result of a translation programm from latin to english in a newspaper, unfortunately i don´t know latin, so i´ll have to post it in german - english: They tried to translate the bible word "der geist ist willig, das fleisch ist schwach" from latin, the result was "the wine is good, but the steaks cannot be recommended"
