Awesome music, but the vocals are a bit annoying. I see what you mean about the AIC comparison, especially in the vocal harmonies from Wig Stand, but this guy is no Layne Staley!
True... and I hope I didn't make it sound like that's what I was saying... Layne was one of a kind. AIC is one of my top 5 favorite bands and I refuse to see them with the new guy on tour, nor will I purchase a new AIC record without Layne. No Layne = no AIC period.

I agree with you 100% - Layne is irreplaceable. I also have no interest in any further efforts by AIC. It just wouldn't be the same.
The vocalist reminds me of someone, but I'll be damned if I can think of who it is right now...maybe a cross between a poor man's version of David Wayne and Sebastian Bach???

Speaking of Sebastian Bach, his new CD is surprisingly good (and the one place to hear Axl, for now).
