Converting CET to Eastern Standard Time

Is CET (Dan's time zone) +2 from GMT?
The way i figured it out, CET is +2 and EST is -5, so it'll be 5 in the afternoon here (in Toronto, Canada) when it's midnight there. Just wanted to be clear on this for contest-related reasons

I think CET might be GMT +1, with a difference of 6hrs between Toronto and Sweden. (I could be wrong though, so don't bet any money on it or anything.)

I just checked.. Sweden (as least Stockholm) is GMT +1

yeah, when it is 6pm here (EST time zone) It is midnight in sweden, six hour difference.

So in other words..

Pacific Time: 3PM
Mountain Time: 4PM
Central Time: 5PM
Eastern Time: 6PM
