Hey everyone,

We've got a cool new lesson up on Guitar Messenger. Francesco Artusato talks about the diminished scale and its applications by using examples from Nevermore, Meshuggah, and an etude of his own. Some valuable information in there, as well as crazy playing.

Check it out at www.guitarmessenger.com - Click on Lessons >> Diminished Ideas: Part 1 - Francesco Artusato. (Or you can go straight to the lesson from the front page through the lessons/features update box)

Hope you enjoy!

I can't view the lesson because I have dial up, but I'll check it out in two weeks when I'm back at school. I love diminished scales though, and I use them all the time. Well, I use the five-tone arpeggiated diminished scale all the time, the full eight-tone scale, not so much.
