Also for studio guys as well, I dont know if anyones heard of it but its called the "rat sniffer". Basically its a fast as shit troubleshooting tool for bad cables,snakes,mics etc. when your on gigs.

I just ordered 2 of them, they also make an nl4 and nl8 tester as well but i was thinking about just making xlr-nl4/8 adapters in hopes that itd work the same way

Exactly what i was thinking, this thing is gonna be great for fast troubleshooting. Shit even when we're prepping for gigs I can run through all the cables and snakes in half the time.

I don't think that it will. NL4s are 4 wire and NL8s are 8 wire. XLR is 3.
