Agree, there's a lot of truth in what you say, it's undeniable.
But then, even though I love metal music so much, I wouldn't let my child listening to it at that age.
I worked with very little children (I'm an educator of nursery school), I really believe they don't need this kind of music so early... when they'll be older that'll be ok (hehe, cause I'd be the first to tell them to listen to metal!), but at that age... no.
Well, I know, this is just my opinion.

Agreed. Children that age aren't old enough to appreciate things like that.

Do you have any memory of anything when you were so young? Not very likely. I listened to rock from day one, because of my father. And I turned out..decent.

Haha, all those hats were great. :tickled:

Don't under estimate little kids man, you should remember what it was like to be closed off from things because of age, it's not cool. :erk: As long as their ear drums don't get damaged in the process, it's all good by me. :)

Thank you, Hatebreeder: you got my point, it was really what I was trying to say.
Probably there could be someone who thinks that only cause I don't play any instrument I have no right to talk, but I don't care.
To who is going to read this, in my preceeding post I wasn't talking about rock or stuff like that, cause when I was less than 5 years I had my house totally invaded by music, previously cause my father was a musician, an author and composer, a bass and guitar player at the same time, admired and respected a lot, and my mum was a singer, and we had a recording studio right in our home... we've always lived in music....well, I'll say nothing else about my past, but I'd like to clarify that I grew up with my ears and mind always full of music, always formerly rock music... there was no silence, in that my house.
But we were talking about metal, and that's why I think the story is different, cause this kind is not the same as rock, it's got another hidden meaning and force, that sometimes has particular effects on an adult person... but those are effects that we shouldn't find in a child.
Chilhood is short, let children be children as long as they can... there will be an entire life, then, to live and act like an adult.
I hope someone will understand what I really mean, with no stupidity, and hope I've been able to explain my thought... that is only my thought, obviously.

naturally, children end up listening to music that their parents listen to up until that age where they start to become extremely influenzed by their peers, at that time they move on to something that helps them fit into the crowd more.
