Sheesh...what a waste of money! Sadly, the cost of software such as this will be used as an excuse for why CD prices are so high. Of course, this is coming from an industry that still regards the compact disc as a "new technology." 
Of course, even without this information, if I wanted to burn a CD to my computer as an Mp3 file (the RIAA can kiss my ass since I'm not filesharing anyway), I could just copy the disc using my CD recorder that's part of my stereo and then burn it to Mp3.
