yeah, i totally voted cornell. not only that, but the guy just does so much more. like the guitar parts in soundgarden would be fucking tough to pull off and sing. especially his vocal parts. plus most of the songs are killer. even some audioslave t00ns aren't horrible. mad respect for that guy.

Nirvana had a few shining moments on Nevermind, but other than that, awful.

have you heard in utero? that was a great album. oh, and their first cd even had some "metal" moments. kinda.

well he didn't play all of them, or even at all on some songs

but yeah he's got quite the set of pipes

i base my vote entirely on soundgarden, forget that audioslave bullcrap people we're talking grunge here

I'd have to say that Nirvana were one of those rare bands who never did anything wrong. Even Alice in Chains had a few duds, Pearl Jam gets a little boring at certain moments, and Soundgarden flat out blew a handful of times, but Nirvana had a pretty perfect track record. I mean even their early demo material was pretty awesome.

Alice in Chains are still my favorite though. Dirt is permanent Top 10 material right there.
