I've never been much of a beer drinker, but I'll certainly take an ice cold beer today - as hot as it is here in Atlanta. whew!

:hotjump:

:erk: my car was registering 105 degrees yesterday while driving around Douglasville. That of course was according to the heat index. I think it truly was in the high nineties though. uugh.

It's 75 degrees outside here in Detroit.... almost wanna go put on a snowsuit...
I would kill a mutha for 75 degree weather right now. The heat index here has been around the 105 mark the past couple of weeks.

Oh, rottingflesh, your a/c will struggle with that kinda heat. We constantly have customers call, in the summer, to complain about their a/c not working properly. It is usually fine, but it can only do so much. Hell, I think mine has been running constantly the past month, or so...I like it cool when I get home. :)

i figured that may be the case as far as my air... but l like it COLD when i sleep so it is frustrating... i hate to see my power bill coming up.. :(

Tell me about it... I couldn't get cool enough to get to sleep last night with the AC *and* the fan going... speaking of power bills, try having someone (esp. a Swede!) at home all day during July. My bill jumped up like 40%! :b (It was worth it, though. :D )

You're fucking crazy, Rose.

Is it humid where you are? I can put up with 105 dry heat, but the incredible amount of humidity in SC totally kills.

That's how it is here, you walk outside and its like a sauna. At times it seems almost hard to breathe, because the air is so thick and heavy with humidity...summer sucks balls.

And hey presto, the realllllly oppressive heat in Atlanta has finally broken. It ain't chilly, but the heat and the humidity were a lot better today.
