Hi! I don't post very often but i read this forum almost everyday, i learned a lot reading all your post, so, this is my way to show you guys how much i learned in recording, mixing, mastering.
Ok, so... my bassist and I did this cover for fun, this is not a reversion, just a plain cover, I only changed the guitar solo.
Guitars are DI into a very crappy Lexicon Alpha (don't buy this ever in your life, it's.... shit
), then ts808>LePou Lecto>Lecab using s-preshigh.
Bass is same as guitar... 2 tracks, 1 for the low end and the other for the high end with a tiny bit of ts808.
Drums are MIDI into ezdrummer.
Vocals were recorded using a MXL 990 mic into a Behringer Mic 2200 Pre into the line input of the Lexicon Alpha.
Acoustic guitar was recorded using a MCL 991 mic into behringer and Lexicon Alpha.
EQ, Comp are ReaPlugs.
Tomorrow I will upload the DI if you like so you can make your mixes.
