Got plans? If not, come to the Swap Meet this Friday, Sept. 25th and take in Kirsten, Sara, Courtney and I, AKA/Crabby Patty, playing some hard rock tunes all night long! You know the routine, 3 sets for a buck! 7:00, 8:30 and 10:00pm! All ages! We're gonna throw in a few new bones in the ole set list so come enjoy! :headbang:

Hey Puck, nice to see you last night at the Swap! Hope you enjoyed!! And thanks for helping unload - we really needed that! :D Good to see you too, Brightwell!

Man, what a fun time! 3 weeks off is just too long! I don't know about you other Pattys, but I feel some muscles just screaming that I haven't felt in a few weeks!! Symphony of Destruction is so fun to play!! Can't wait to do it again next month! ;)

You played Symphony Of Destruction and I wasn't there?? Not fair :cry:

Oh well, will make it next time for sure. I would have come to this show if I wasn't beat up by the 13 shows I've already done this month. (!!!)

Yes, indeedy, it sure did feel good to be "back in the saddle" again! I always have fun with CP because I don't feel compelled to reign in my naturally dorky self as much. I can let my true inner goofiness soar (for better or worse).:loco: heh heh

And at our last practice we started brainstorming about new songs we want to add, so I'm looking forward to knocking out some new jams, too.

In addition to "Symphony," we added "Barracuda" and "Livin' on a Prayer." Feel free to suggest others, yo.

I would love to hear you singing Holy Diver, Kirsten! I think y'all could do a great version of that!!!

Ya know I think Kirsten could do an excellent Dio vocal. Any Rainbow, Black Sabbath or Dio material.

I vote Man on the Silver Mountain.

Jim

or the kielbasa song :headbang: so silly

Hell yeah!! I love The D!!! I saw them live with Metallica three times last year and for a kind of "joke" band to be second on the bill to the headline act and to hold an audience like that was unreal. They went down an absolute storm!! It was awesome seeing 70,000 people all arm in arm, singing Fuck Her Gently at the top of their voices!!! Good times!! :D

I would love to hear you singing Holy Diver, Kirsten! I think y'all could do a great version of that!!!

Or how about something really off the wall like Wonderboy by Tenacious D??

Thanks for the vote of confidence re Dio (thanks, Spideyjg, too). I love Dio--hey Patties, didya catch that? Of course, we do "Mob Rules," but I'm totally down with adding some Dio solo stuff.

And I fucking LOVE Tenacious D! I know the "Pick of Destiny" soundtrack backwards and forwards! I love Jack Black--I would be his baby mama. :p In fact, I paid homage to him at the gig by pushing over my mic stand at the end of a song.

Hey I'm going through a bit of a revival of my old music.....

What about......Def Leppard? Something off the hysteria album would be cool to do.

Poison - nothing but a good time
Skid Row - pretty much anything by them would be cool to do.

Ahhh just found my dan reed network album  Slam was a good album.

How 'bout some good 'ole Van Halen and Scorpions!!! All female tribute to Van Halen and/or Scorps would rule, BTW!!! I would so pay to sell the merch! Think of all the chicks that would be at a show like that!! Oooppps, was I dreaming and typing at the same time?
VH's "In a simple rhyme" would be AWESOME!!!! Just heard it awhile ago, brought back good memories...kinda like what looking at Kirsten's H.S. picture with the Crue cut does!:) Good stuff!!
Any "Blackout" Scorpions would rock!

Oh - "I remember you" from Skid Row would be great to hear you all play! Another song from when things were good...:)

I've always wanted to do that song, too. I dunno, since we already do "Youth Gone Wild," we might need to pick another artist before adding a second song by the same one, but hellya, I would like to do that one. :headbang:
