I disliked the image a tonne, but I don't find all of their material totally bad. Infact the last record (the name escapes me) was not too bad.
They pale in comparison to a bazillion other bands, but they have some alright material.

I saw the video for "Temptation" a few weeks ago. Squirrel balls are waaaaay too cool for them to suck. COF is bird shit. Pre-Midian I do like, but after that ....no.

I can't take Dani Filth at all, I have no reason to hear any more of CoF than I have.

I may hate Cradle Of Filth and I may think that Dani is the epitome of gay, but I will admit that he does know a lot about the early black metal scene.
Cradle Of Fear was also the shittiest horror movie ever.

In order to appreciate something, sometimes one must remember that
certain things were avant-garde at a certain time...
Plus, certain things I hated at some time in my life, came to me a as a suprise as my taste matured...

I can't take Dani for too long either, but their music was GREAT in the first two albums!!! How can one deny that!? If they had better vocals and they were less "Hot topic" I swear 99% of you would think differently.
Those guys (and I know them mmmmK) live and breath metal. They created their own style and unique art. They listen to the same music that you do...
so, the vocals are GAY (I actually agree... I can take his vocals in very small doses)
