yes the first album isnt too bad, but I cant stand Dani's voice much... its really getting on my nerves...
btw, did an interview with my dying bride this weekend and that was really interesting to talk about all these line up stuff

i'm still thinking whether which album is best for me: Vempire or Dusk... I'd go for Vempire.
It's got this special dark, open bloody and sadistic feel to it - Dusk is a bit too goth for me. I like one style at a time, not combining multiple. after that it went downhill, musicwise as well.

i hope he soon will read it the way it is. man this guy is sooooo trying to fool himself, or he just is too stupid to see. all these contrasts in his quotes, perhaps it was the writer who put it that way, but still...

Firstly, I doubt CoF is still BM. Ranging from "cruelty.." they have been rather heavy metal (IRON MAIDEN like solos).
Secondly, I prefer those recent albs, because Dani's voice does not resemble pig squeaks.
Thirdly, the last GRAVEWORM ("engraved in black") beats them all the way..
Guess conversation regarding CoF image, lyrics and video clips could turn into battle.

i dont like black metal cause its a fucking joke, its nothing evil just very fucking gay pointless sport music, a bit like tales from the crypt turned into music, ridiculous. any riff from '...and justice for all' is heavier than that whole black metal non sense. imo. like.

nowadays its become a joke but there was some good releases a while ago (time fucking flies) like the first Emperor 12", Darkthrone- A Blaze In The Northern Sky, Under A Funeral Moon, Burzum- Aske 12"... But, as any scene picks up, it becomes saturated with crap. Look at the melodic doom scene Imitations everywhere, its all bollox

lyricwise, i must agree. musicwise, i doubt your argument. i like the epic style, and it provides me with a great sense of power, energy. greater than any other style, coz that's not mostly why it was composed in the 1st place.
