Not sure if any of you are COF fans, but I downloaded the video for this song (And I think it's only the second half of the song) from the roadrunner website http://www.roadrun.com/

I'm highly mightily and completely impressed, and I'm going to buy this album. This song really kicks my ass. I keep playing the video over and over.

But I have to say, Dani reminds me a bit of Black Lawless in the clip.

Maybe it's those pygmy frog moves he does.

The album is pretty good actually. Although I think the one I downloaded is missing a song.

Still, it's a lot better than the crap they released earlier.

hahaha, who doesn't love anything with lots of boobies?

But yeah, it is an awesome video. I have the uncensored version on my comp \m/

Cradle of Filth - Nymphetamine

This one's a beauty. Instead of trying to be all epic, etc. like on DAAD, they've gone out and made 12 good tracks and a couple of great soundscapes and plonked them on the one album. Awesome riffs are everywhere and the songs are just really good. There's some beautiful piano work on two of my favourite tracks: "English Fire" and "Swansong for a Raven" while they seem to try different things with tracks like "Filthy Little Secret" and it's almost punk-intro. The only thing that annoys me upon my first few listens is a dual guitar harmony riff in "Nemesis" it sounds out of place and it's frustrating to listen to. But apart from that, top stuff \m/

Megadeth - The System Has Failed

This is a lot faster than I was expecting. Everyone was saying it's all "Countdown" meets "Youthanasia" with a hint of "Cryptic Writings" but as soon as it started I got a lot of RIP and SFSGSW vibes coming out of the first half of the CD. The second half does slow down a lot, and most of the songs have very big Cryptic Writings, and even Risk influences, but over-all it's a great, diverse album with only a few songs that don't stand up to the rest. My picks for this album are: "Die Dead Enough", "The Scorpion", and "Back in the Day"

There's a couple of reviews I did on a computer gaming forum.

Strange I posted there instead of here.

/me shakes his head

Even my dog likes it, he has been barking at Dani quite a lot.
How could you tell where Danis singing stopped and the dogs barking began?

Blitzy, I had it preordered through amazon a month before it came out, just waiting for it to arrive with some other stuff :)

(I have all of Cradles albums except the first couple :) )

You damn well should, it is awesome. I know you have their other stuff, that is why I am saying you will like it, because this is better than their other stuff. :headbang:

The first couple are the only other ones I do have. Midian is the next on the list, I like it, just haven't gotten around to getting it.

I still think Dusk..And Her Embrace by Cradle has some great songs on it. They fuck them up when they go into the fast blastbeat parts though but the atmospheric stuff is great, it really captures a cool vibe that reminds me of all the old Hammer Horror flicks.

Otherwise Cradle don't really interest me. But they do interest me more than any black metal band.

I hate their older stuff Blitzy :)

I think Midian is their best album, though Damnation And A Day is ok, Better To Reign In Hell is a great song. His vocals on the old stuff are just a big, steaming pile of turds. They are so bad, but now he varies his vocal style a lot more and doesnt screech like a banshee the whole time anymore thankfully :)
