Did anyone else see this movie? It has a really good cast - Matt Dillon, Julia Roberts, Brendan Fraiser, Lorenz Tait, etc. I watched it for the first time on Saturday and I went through so many emotions. I thought it was excellent. Its one of those movies that really makes you think. The part with the locksmith and his daughter, though. I thought I was going to jump through the television screen after the store owner. All I can say about that scene is wow.

Everyone I know has seen it raves about it. Saying its a very confronting film regarding what it portrays as normal behaviour.

I have yet to see it though. Must go and rent it and give it a whirl.

Been there done it. Like a high school "race issues" class. Pretentious hackery, but at least it's getting some people talking, but in the end, will probably affect nothing. And these writers think they are so clever with their deus-ex-machina plot devices. Other than that, it was OK.

Oh, and nice to see Marina Sirtis again.

What a great movie...

Yeah that scene with the locksmith and his daughter, what an emotional scene!!! I started bauling...my tears were like a faucet :waah: ...I don't know if it was because my daughter was the same age as the little girl but I couldn't calm down for a while after that...(I have never cried like that before...my son who was 1 at the time was just staring at me)...see what becoming a parent does to you...LOL

What a powerful movie the whole thing was, how everyone's actions are connected to everyone else...I didn't think I was gonna enjoy the movie as much as I did

Is this the movie where Matt Dillon is a cop and feels up the record producers wife after pulling them over.

Anyway isn't this an Anthrax song too? :loco:

This part had me sobbing out loud. I have never done that in movie before. I mean, I have cried, but not like I did at this part. Even when I think about it now, I still get upset by it. I also think it has to do with the fact that I could see a child doing what his daughter did, especially my own.
