Regrettably, I can only agree once. One person gets inflamed that they're not gonna make any money off their kids, then another gets enraged that it's child porn, then the first guy calls it child abuse to cover his own ass and make it look like he's a socially conscious, upstanding citizen. Dude, chill lol, I was talking exactly about the bible thumpers and shit, I think the dude did NOTHING wrong, hence it annoyed me this being a HUGE deal and hence my criticism towards the whole community of jesus lovers in america that will get so offended by this

Wait... so he made a video in which he had no physical interaction with children, and he's being charged with child abuse and going to prison? I think it's pretty indecent to make sexually suggestive ANYTHING when it comes to kids, but that's a bit much.

If this is the message we're sending, then why stop there - send every comedian in this country to prison then - namely Will Ferrel for "The Landlord" and Dave Chappelle for his "Tyrone Biggums" sketches.

Obviously being a parent of three children, I can sympathize where crimes perpetrated against children are concerned (and I am very intolerant when it comes to that as in; all pedo's should die), but seriously - 20 years in jail for making a video? Granted, if my kid was in the video, the guy would not only need a lawyer, but also a cosmetic surgeon because I would have fucked him up big-time, but seriously... 20 years.

What about free speech and freedom of expression? I really hope the kid has good legal representation, despite the fact that I don't think what he did (disclaimer: haven't seen the video) shoudl be punished to this extent.

From the ten seconds of actual facts presented in that 2:20 video this seems totally ridiculous. I'm not sure that "false pretense" or creative editing are even punishable offenses.
It's important to remember though that being charged in the midst of a bunch of people demanding action isn't the same thing as being convicted and sentenced. It's incredibly unlikely this guy will be convicted of child abuse however it is likely he's going to be jammed up for several months and spend some $ on lawyers. But it's just an arrest right now-- not a conviction.
