I've been song writing during the pandemic. Sadly, none of my friends like my style of music (think metal mixed with video game music mixed with cartoon theme tune). I used to post on this forum 15+ years ago, I had no idea it was still around but looked it up after Alexi sadly died this week!
Concept: Mysterious creature called Richard Boyd appears throughout history causing chaos in different forms. This time, he/it caused COVID.
Song 1: Lockdown of Boyd
Song 2: Mask of Boyd
Song 3: Election of Boyd [inspired by Trump vs. Biden]
Song 4: Wildfire of Boyd [inspired by the Oz/US wildfires]
All the songs are on Spotify etc. if you prefer to listen there.
I play the guitars, programmed the drums and made the lyrics/melodies. Paid freelance bass players, singers and producer to make it sound a bit more polished.
