I've encountered a few difficulties with this project that I would like to have some opinions on:
1. Tons of guitars all reamped on one amp.
Leads, rhythms, quads - all on one amp and I suppose one guitar. Each track was 5 mics or so. I ditched quads completely and used different mic combinations and different EQ for leads and rhythms to get some separation, but still it was pretty hard. What do you usually do in such situations?

2. Tons of layered vocals.
Again, one singer, one mic. Overlapping main parts, everything triple-tracked. Bunch of double-tracked harmonies. Plus I doubt the decision of making the vocal so loud, but it was the bands' request.

3. Drums.
The drummer wanted kick to sound natural and not to be "clicky". I tried my best to give it some low-end punch, make it cut through without sounding too "modern".

4. Mastering.
With the vocal being so loud it was hard to get desired RMS levels without burying the rest of the mix. Wat do?
