Long long long time lurker here. This place has served me well on the basics so far. I've just registered as I'm doing my bands demo and I've now started to get into this a bit more seriously. Bought some software a while ago and have been trying for a week or so to get something I'm happy with.
I was wondering if you guys could listen at what I have so far, it's only drums and bass. I'm pretty happy about the drums, they're my own SSD kit. Mix of all kinds of stuff.
The bass tone I'm not sure about. I have two seperate tracks, one is the low-end track with a LP going through TSE BOD into Softube Bass Amp Room. Other track has a HP also going through Softube but has a bit of distortion on it. Both bass tracks have EQ on them just to get rid of some frequencies I didn't like. I also have a bit of compression and a limiter on both tracks.
