Cool. I know there are a couple of people here who will probably be interested.
Saw the Cro-Mags in 2002. It was the lineup with Dave Dicensio on drums (the drummer on John Petrucci's solo album). No Warning was the support band. It was a good time. They did play here this past December but I skipped it.
As long as I'm posting, might as well note that lately I've been digging Murphy's Law - The Party's Over. The last track is so funny.
yeah, you would figure no one cares about this album or Best Wishes, but i still think all three are classic. Even though the 4th album was constructed from the same sessions at Alpha Omega there is only 1 or 2 keepers from the whole thing, but CM wouldn't let me use as bonus tracks, but i tried. hahaha.
Age of Quarrel is hands down the classic with Best Wishes being a worthy follow up, honestly, I didn't care about 'em after that, but I did see Harley and his Flanagans open for Destruction back in the '80's - talk about your mosh pit!
Yeah, we fixed a lot of stuff. cd title, band logo, plus no more "hidden track" either. just put it at the end unlisted since it's just an outro jam. also, titled the originally untitled 7th track just "VII" thus correcting the original running order issue and now finally people can enjoy the final two songs with their proper song titles and not what has been listed incorrectly since 1992.
that album was a clusterf*ck of problems originally. even in the remastering i fixed some of the original production glitches i hadn't noticed until we remastered it. haha.
either way, this album rips and i am not just saying that because i am reissuing it. this album is awesome still to this day and i love it which is why i approached century media about letting me license it.
