What are the chances of such a wondrous band coming over the border to the American neighbours, us fond Canadians?

I know there isn't much of a fan base to speak of, but www.braveconcerts.com always has sponsorships and means of touring (usually as an opening) for the smaller bands out there, especially if interested in the rock capital Montreal)

And though small in a commercial aspect, the Iron Maidens are big in volume as far as I can tell from the Media files in the webstie (though the contrast between a recording and an actual live show is quite distinct).

What ever happend to "April Wine"?

I had to reply on this one..

I saw April Wine this past summer when they opened up for Ted Nugent at
one of those free blast from the past concerts. The band still has all of their original members and the guitar solo in Gypsy Queen still gives the chills ...But the shocker of the concert was that their drummer is 67 years old!!! ( they announced his birthday at the concert) and he still kicks ass on the drums and is in very good shape.

Rock and roll til ya die I guess ?

They constantly frequent Montreal, especially during July (Canada Day, supposedly). But besides that... they're just milking it, and they're awfully good at that.
