Crown D-75 owners I need your help...

Ok I'm looking on Ebay for one and there is one with info saying this "Powers on and the LEDs blink momentarily and go out. I believe this is normal".

So is this what the Crown D-75 power amps do normally at power up?

I have one of the older models. When it powers on, the LEDs do blink momentarily and go out right away. The orange-ish red light towards the right stays on (which is only visible when the unit is on, as it is behind the gray coating on the front).

Ok thanks Aaron i will ask the seller if this does that. Yea i believe this is a older one as well.

Now does that crown get those ns10's cranking pretty loud?

Also did you do the fuse mod on yours to protect the tweeters?

The Crown is plenty of power for the NS-10s. Yamaha recently started making the tweeters again, and they're about $100 each and easy to replace...it's the woofers that you need to protect, although I have yet to do the fuse mod. I just don't turn them up all that loud!
