Cubase SX anybody?

Can anyone tell me why my pirated version of cubase SX running on a pentium 4, locks up 10 sec after hitting record when using midi .... is this because i have a pirated version or is it the midi settings. Has anyone had the same problem or know of a solution?

Probably the fact that it's a pirate. My legit version runs fine on a lower spec machine. The manual may be able to offer more insigt than me though.

I have a cracked pirate version and mine works fine, so I can't help. Probably ust a bad version.

I was experiencing the same problem previously. Then, I was using a cheap 5 year old Yamaha soundcard. But was solved when I installed a new card.

I had a pirated copy, and now I have the real one, and have never had that problem.
