I recently destroyed my old zbt crash and I haven't used my A custom crash for a while because its missing a chunk. As far as crashes go (cause my splashes are all apparently indestructable) my z custom is the only one that's held up, and I need another one or two, but wanted a different sound (id est not just another z custom). I'm not that familiar with paiste or sabien, so you know of any others that are similarily durable...

I probably will, it'll be a while until I have the money for a new one. But at the moment its sustain is gone. And the other day I got my stick stuck in one of the cracks. If I can find my digital camera I'll post a picture of a few of my dead cymbals.

Yea that is pretty bad. I remember this one cymbal I use to have- slowly cracked all the way up the the bell, and then one day, I hit it and the fucking bell reversed itself with a loud snapping noise.

Ha, I still have the crash that came with my worthless first drum set. It sounded godawful until my brother and I readjusted it....

...with a hammer. If I can find a way to put it on a cymbal stand again I'll probably start using it as a china.

I'll have to find a picture or a camera...

I use Sabians personally. I have a Medium-Heavy AA Crash thats lasted like 3 years, probably my most durable cymbal.
Yeah the AA series has beautiful sound and durability, if you know half of what you're doing they'll last you more than long enough

Edit: The china and crash are really nice in that one. My drummer bought a zildijan(sp?) starter pack, and then bought the AA crash and china cause they make death metal fans jiz their pants.
