Reunited progressive metallers CYNIC, whose 1993 album "Focus" is regarded as a landmark release in the field of technical/progressive metal, have been confirmed for the Brutal Assault festival, set to take place August 9-11 at the Old Army Fortress Josefov in Jaromer, Czech Republic (Jaromer is situated 130 km east of Prague, 20km north from Hradec Kralove).
