Union, New Jersey's CYPHERSEER has inked a deal with Nightmare Records. Due on April 12, the band's sophomore album, "Origins", was mixed and edited by Fredrik Nordström (AT THE GATES, IN FLAMES, DARK TRANQUILLITY, ARCH ENEMY, SOILWORK, BRING ME THE HORIZON) and is described in a press release as "a unified mix of melodic death metal, power metal and prog metal, resulting in an intense, fast and overall outstanding 65-plus minutes of original music."
CYPHERSEER is fronted by Zeno Rodrigo, who is said to possess "an impressive mix of aggressive, clean and sometimes otherworldly vocals."
The band's "ultimate goal is to combine diverse influences and styles marking a new generation with untamed creativity while striving to provide a sonic link between their predecessors and the future in metal."
