Layne is a good vocalist don't get me wrong, but the point of Kevin and Bilinda's vocals are not to "sound good" from a vocal stand point but to add something of an ethereal feeling to the music. Often times on will find that in shoegaze there is the idea of vocals as an instrument, rather than to convey lyrics that are understandable.

Layne's voice is an instrument... all voices are instruments... and Layne's power and emotion and sheer fucking pain (specifically Rooster) are much better, to me, than shoegaze vocals.

anyone using the valnott (aka, valknut, walknot...) for anything doesnt know much about its meaning. hope they enjoy their painfull death! its a symbol of dead warriors, and any living man who wears it will soon be dead!
