I got inspired by a previous post, this is a quick composition I knocked up on photoshop. It looks best if you have good contrast on screen with no reflections etc.
It's 199k, so give it time to load.
Damn, i don't like it as much as I did last night....anyway.

I don't think it's the right dimensions for a desktop background?
Anyway, I can soon design another one
The cool thing I like doing in photoshop is scanning in loads of gritty and interesting textures, or taking photos of textural stuff, then slapping them all on top of each other and playing with the layer effects like Hard Light, Overlay, etc.
I've just learnt how to make menus (with fancy rollovers) in photoshop, but the bitch is that they always take ages to load on crappy 56k connections....grrr......well at least broadband is getting cheaper....
