down is a mix of like.... lynard skynard, black sabbath, trouble, and spiritual beggars - good stuff. Im not a big pantera fan, and I loathe damageplan, but Down rules.

i would expect some pantera songs because they said on the net theyd play some based on the response and requests of the crowd and also its the two biggest memebers of pantera, in my opinion

Yes, I've read Down compared to being a more modern version of Sabbath. They're nothing like Pantera kind of metal.

I always liked Pantera especially Far Beyond Driven and Reinventing The Steel.

Breathing new life i was into for abit, then it got boring, then i heard the album and i thought it was kinda like nu-metal. SJ. was ok for a while too but they just get boring too. Never heard down and i dont want to. and Pantera were Kings of Metal once apon a time.. and just kept going downhill.. phils an idiot.

please don't write off Down yet. listen to their debut NOLA and you will probably like it. It is very southern heavy metal. I like it.
