YES! MY FRIENDS! I am going to pick up a copy of VOL.8 on disc in 1 hour......got it on tape but i NEED the disc....been tryin to get this for 2 years and a local store here in REDNECK CENTRAL finally got one in! Gimme a "WHOOO!" like Ric by god Flair!
AND ON THE 8TH DAY...GOD CREATED VOL.8 THE THREAT IS REAL!:headbang:

I remember when Volume 8 first came out. At the time I was working in Wyoming and I had to go to a store called "Mountain music" to special order it. The guy at the store was like, "Anthrax is still around?" when I asked him to special order it. It took them 2 weeks to get it in, man did that suck. But it was certainly worth the wait, Volume 8 is a kick ass affair!

SHIT MANG! I ORDERED MINE YESTERDAY! THE GUY AT THE COUNTER WAS A MORMON RIGHT? LOL I GOTS NO LOVE FOR THE NO CAFFEINE DRINKIN' MORMONS....MY ENTIRE IN-LAW FAMILY ARE MORMON AND THEY DON'T LIKE ME A DAMN BIT! iF i LIVED IN UTAH I WOULD GET THE HELL OUTTA DODGE W/ A QUICKNESS!

Actually, I was born in New York and raised in Wyoming. I have also lived in Seattle, and now in Utah. Actually, Utah is not that bad. There are alot of Mormons but they actually keep to themselves. The worst thing about Utah is the crappy 3.2 beer! I'm not even that big of a beer drinker, but I do like my beer to be real! I think Utah is one of two states that has this stupid law, and the Mormons are to blame for sure. Dude, I'm sorry about your family and their Mormon ways. I myself am not Mormon, but growing up in a small town with nothing but Mormons I felt the sting of religious racism hundreds of times. So I know exactly what your talking about. You will always have your Anthrax friends to chat with though. : ) I miss Seattle for sure, it's the nicest place I've lived.

Your a good guy GregThrax! Stay up for sure!

yeah I got my copy back in. highschool like 4 years ago. I heard new Anthrax before the old, but hey it was more my time and it was great to find a "new" band that played what I like, And testiment too. of coarse I liked them long ago when I was a kid. so I like new Anthrax more than old, and I think it all comes down to the fact that alot of the vocals of the old, I just couldn't realy relate to them. some of them were just kinda silly, but I guess alot of 80's bands had silly lyrics. Not to rag on old Anthrax. My favorite song is Intro to Reality/ Belly of the Beast. plus John's vocals are just so much more badass and you can tell he puts so much into, just like the rest of the boys.
but anyway all the albums were there in a row, White Noise, stomp 442, and Vol 8. and I bought them all at once.

I remember when the announcement first came that Anthrax had fired Joey Belladonna. At first I was very dissapointed, but once I heard "Sound of White Noise" I totally understood why Anthrax booted Mr. Belladonna! John Bush has one of the best voices for Heavy Metal! Period! Did you know that inbetween Ride the lightning and Master of Puppets that James Hetfield offered the vocal duties to John Bush! Mr. Bush declined because at the time he was totally dedicated to making Armored Saint happen. It just goes to show that when your good(John Bush), people notice! Great point mang!

I have absolutely no idea where I bought Vol 8. I know I got Stomp at Zia's and they sold me the promo one that says it's for promo only and they're not supposed to sell it, which I didn't see until I got home (even though it was written in gold across the front). I got SOWN somewhere in NY (where I'm from). And Killer A's I just got last weekend because I couldn't find it til now, at Virgin Records. Oh and I found the DVD last weekend at Fry's Electronics, took me that long to find that one too. Anthrax is a HELL of a lot easier to find in NY, let me tell you. Makes me wish I still lived there. And I never met a Mormon til I moved out here, and they freaked me OUT. No caffeine? I'd kill myself. I don't think I could handle Utah, but not cause of them, but the COLD. All I hear about is snow. I grew up in it, but I've been in a desert long enough now that I'd freeze to death. How unpleasant.

p.s. thanks greg, you're pretty cool yourself.

I Have to Say I feel lucky because I have never had a problem finding Anthrax Albums. Also, I always buy them the day they come out so I guess that helps. Pathetic, but iown every copy and version of every albnum out, cd, tape vinyl you name it i have it

i'm pretty lucky in australia we have a record store called utopia which specialises in heavy metal and i always have anthrax releases preordered anyway!!!
