well the difference is cherone and corabi were already somebody before and after they joined up with huge bands. who is dan nelson? no one

Same here. And for the record, I really don't care if Dan Nelson lasts past one album or not. It's not about quantity, it's about quality. Hopefully the band will release a good album. If they keep the same singer past that is their business.

i think Jewy and Charlene will treat him like rubbish, like they did with Bush and Belladonna. maybe they shrink him after the release of the next album, turn him into a frog and do another reunion with Bellardini and Lazy Eye? or they get back together with Fat Boy Milano and record the follow-up to "Bigger Than The Devil"? Anthrax is such an interesting band, you can never be sure who their current singer or guitar-player is. will they go on tour with Belladonna next year? or record a new album with Bush? With Whitfield Crane or Corey Taylor?

As someone who knows dan personally I can tell you his work ethic is second to none, and his live performances are enegetic and full of fun. He can banter, he can joke, and he can take a joke.
All around hes a good guy.
If the band decides to put him on the shelf they are making a huge mistake in my opinion. Hes not just some screamer like Joey or Johnny, He can sing, he can growl, he can scream.
Personally I hope they keep him on.

All fine & good that you know and like Dan. But John & Joey "screamers"? I don't think so. Tom Araya=Screamer. John Bush=Singer. Joey B.=Poodle-haired Steve Perry clone.
I mean I suppose John & Joey could be "screamers" but how would you know that? I mean their wives should know, but......

Sorry man but JB and JB are both extremely talented front men. From what I have heard so far Dan is as well so in hopes we will see another good few album run outta Anthrax in its current evolution.

Man I have to say that the shit you hear about and then come to read is completely fucked. Anthrax supposedly auditioned hundreds of singers, including many established Rock Stars and decided on Dan Nelson. That has to say something I would think. The fucking guy has to have something the band sees and in Chicago, so will we... Or am I missing something here.
Also, I read Dan's bio when he joined Anthrax and it seems to me that he has been in some heavy fucking bands since the age of 13 (maybe even younger). That is not coming from nowhere. That was paying your dues as have all True Musicians before they make a name for themselves.
So here's to you Dan Nelson. When all is said and done the same people that say shit will be lined up to ask for your autograph and give you their wives to sleep with just to have a drink with you. The rest of us musicians that are still looking to break have you as inspiration and a true sense that in the end, talent and dedication always wins.

Hopefully they make something good. It will either be good or they will enter they're Van Cherone phase
And speaking of Motley Crue, if you havent already guys do check out Nikki Sixx's 'Sixx AM' album hes done, its pretty good. New Crue song 'Saints Of Las Angeles' is not bad either.
