I was really digging that till Cookie Monster appeared. Although, his growls are pretty comprehensible so it's not too distracting. I just didn't see those coming. I know nothing of Swano outside of Nightingale, so maybe this is a departure. I like this...I think.

Edit: guys it's Swanö. Completely different pronunciation (more like a 'u' or the 'i' in 'birth')!

Swano can do no wrong. I totally agree that Nightingale would be more of the "departure" from what he normally does; still nothing he does is to far removed from the previous or next project. Dan has a very distinct stamp.

He just did a really cool interview for MSRCast that I listened to last weekend, and he said CM is basically letting him do whatever he wants in the future and if they don't like it he can give it to another label. Sounds perfect for a guy like him. He said he wants to do an entirely 90's style Swedish dm album in the future.
Excellent. Good to hear Dan doing this style again (other than as a producer or guest performance). I have big expectations for the album now.
