Darin, Drain STH in America

I picked up their two albums for close to nothing used.
I can see what they aren't around they are slow sludgy and the last song sounds like the next one.... I wasn't at all impressed. What do you think?!

I saw them at a beer festival in San Jose about 10 years ago? I liked the fact that a heavy band was playing instead of all the usually funk, Soul wedding style bands that seem to play these types of events, You know nothing to offensive.

They reminded me of Alice In Chains except they were an all female band. I never bought there cd's though so I can't comment on them. I do remember them playing "Ace Of Spades" which was cool!

I just picked up there "Horror Wrestling" cd for $1.95. If you like Alice In Chains then you would probably like Drain S.T.H.
Hell A.I.C. should have used this singer when they reformed.

I tell you one thing they are beautiful ladies!

There's an acoustic version?! I have the version with the electric version... I have seen that there are two cover variations? Is that the difference?!

The second version or release of H.W has 5 more tracks with "Serve The Shame" being done acoustically also. I don't know if there is an acoustic version of "Ace Of Spades" maybe.

Ok, so I looked around...it's the same version you have, but I know I've heard an acoustic version of AOS by them, must've been a b-side or something.

AFAIK that Ace Of Spades cover only appeared on Horror Wrestling as a bonus track but it's not accoustic. It's frightfully sludgy, like Girlschool on dope. The third song Serve The Shame appears as an accoustic version at the end.

But yeah, they are pretty schwingy.
