Coldwave is more akin to post-punk than synthpop but no thread whose title contains the words "dark" and "80s" should be without this kind of stuff.

Oh yeah, I've been totally obsessed with the stuff before...I just think it's worth differentiating as whenever I've heard "Coldwave" it's always sounded more like post-punk styled goth music, and Darkwave is always more synthpop based
