Nah, I openly admit Staind is one of my top 30 or 40 favorite bands. I just hate melo death, always have.

My tattoos came from Dark Tranquillity lyrics, but they're not really a favorite band of mine or anything and I would have still gotten them even if Children of Bodom wrote them.

Actually, if CoB wrote them, I might not hate them so much haha.

Man they must have been different when you guys saw them because the two times I have, they didn't seem all that special. And that live DVD they put out is sooo boring. Their music sure is great though. Skydancer being #1.

Yeah, the DVD does suck. Maybe he was just "on" the 3 nights I've seen them. Dunno. I'll probably wind up seeing them again in May, though.

Sorry. For what it's worth Dark Tranquility are miles beyond their counterparts.

great live band for sure.

I haven't listened to their last couple of albums, but from what I saw of reviews, they are fairly consistent and quality stuff that their fans enjoy a lot.

The Gallery is one of my fav melo-death albums.
