Guitars on "Obey - Erase - Obey": Jackson Professional with EMG81 and PODxt.

Drums on both: Tama Creastar drums, Paiste cymbals (1000, 2000, 3000 and Signature series). Sonor Piccolo snare.

Hey Daunt... Kick ass music!
I found some of your samples at the harmony central forum... They floored me - especially that song "War Without Blood" Absolutely crushing old school death metal ... and the TONE on that thing... May I ask what did you use for it? Some guy from the HC forum said it was all Laney VH100R if I remember right, but now I'm kinda puzzled seeing as you used guitar rig on the latest tracks...

Anyway... Two thumbs up...

Hey, I'll try... It's a bit old... May I say that the tone on "War Without Blood" is IMO one of the sickest to have ever been recorded and yes, I'm serious The part immediately after the intro gives me the fucking chills... When both guitars start playing the same thing it's so MASSIVE... And that's only the tone itself. The actual songwriting on that song is friggin awesome too.

Thank you for the link and your comments! I recorded the guitars, but I don't agree with you I think the production on "Modern ways..." sucks. The song works better live, but we don't play it too often anymore.

So we agree to disagree, then? Our opinions seem to be shockingly different, but I dare say mine is more objective You probably had different expectations and you don't like the production because it's not what you had "in your head" at the time... I can understand that, but believe me... I said what I said in total honesty and my opinion still stands exactly the same. It's a very distinct, massively brutal sound that I really like
