I think the gold V thingy in the bridge looks pretty terrible. Otherwise, I have nothing against that guitar myself, as I've set myself to a mental state that reads "I will buy an explorer for next guitar" all over it

Dean comes across pretty badly almost all the time. Its like pseudo poseur marketing for whatever reason... and this Explorer looks like shit. I'd rather have an Axxion than this.

Lastly... I fucking hate distressed wannabe retro shit. Earn your battle scars on your own.

Compared to many other "legends", he didn't stray all that much.

I don't really like anything but the original shaping (including banana headstock) as far as Explorers go.

ESP's take on the Explorer is waaaay worse than this though IMHO. I'm probably pretty much alone with that opinion haha.
