I wouldn't say im a massive fan, but i have been known to play a song or two, i've had a mild phobia of bowie after i saw the labyrinth as a child.

I love David Bowie. I got to see him live in my town a few years back. Also managed to meet him and do this picture thing

Apologies on my starting out here with a bump of a months-old thread, but I think it's well worth mentioning that there's a page devoted to David Bowie, 1972 and on, mostly about his collabs with Andy Warhol and Iggy Pop.

Basically, from 1969 to 1980, he had the most unbelievable streak of great albums of any artist in history (even Young Americans, which I'd give about a 7/10). The Berlin Trilogy he did with Eno is about as experimental as a pop star can get.

Anyway, I just remember seeing Tin Machine on Saturday Night Live in 1991. Reeves Gabrels shredded. On national television. I couldn't believe it.

This may or may not be a strange thread for RC, but who here is into David Bowie? You're never too metal to listen to a little Bowie here and there. Everything he did in the 70's was gold with the exception of Young Americans and there was still signs of greatness after that. Who's with me?
