Wow, this one went by unnoticed back in '99! I remember owning it on cassette, loving it, and never rebuying it on CD when I made the transition (I was about 12 years late, plus tapes were cheaper for a ninth grader). It has a great Neil Young slash folk slash Alice In Chains Unplugged style that is very lush and Mountain-y (sort of like "Terria" and "October Rust") and I hate to see it fade away into oblivion. Every track is great (except for that weird untitled one), but "Weapon and the Wound" is one of my top 10 songs... EVAR. All the inteludes between songs carry along the cohesive vibe. Oh, and there are a ton of musical intruments, including those xylophone/tube thingies on "Skeleton Key", a ton of violins, a choir, banjo, oboe... oh, and basically no electric guitar.

Who's with me?

Seriously, you never heard "Touch Peel and Stand" on the radio ALL THE FUCKING TIME???

in college whenever i'd get drunk at a party (always) someone would inevitably request that i play this song on acoustic guitar and sing along. someone should've recorded it because it was pretty funny if i do say so myself. it was like listening to a sock puppet stuck in a washing machine.

Wow, it really DID go by unnoticed!

The third one is okay, but I haven't listened to it in a long while.
The first... other than the hits I don't remember a thing about it.

I liked the Red One because of the song Damn Dirty Road, I think it was called. Anyway yeah I heard touch,...whatever like 500 hundred times, then he kicked the band out and they formed Tantra.
